The scientific library MUMPS (for MUltifrontal Massively Parallel Solver) is known worldwide. It solves large systems of sparse linear equations in a robust and effective way on high performance computers (distributed and shared memory machines, CPU and GPU). It is the fruit of more than 20 years of Research & Development.
The MUMPS library is, on the one hand, a software platform enabling to pursue research activities in high performance computing in collaboration with academic laboratories and, on the other hand, a package integrated in many free and commercial numerical simulation codes worldwide.
